The Tale of Flippy’s
What’s in a Name?
The story of our HVAC company’s branding starts near the coast, where dolphins were a familiar sight to Austin growing up. Years later, when he was choosing a mascot, those memories came back to him. It helped that his children loved them just as much as he had.
A dolphin felt meaningful not only because of that personal connection, but because of the role the animal plays in Santa Rosa and Escambia counties’ ecosystem. Austin’s kids started calling the dolphin Flippy, and the name stuck.
Flippy’s Heat And Air is a local HVAC company founded by Austin Hunter. He grew up watching his dad run an HVAC business, then spent years working in the trade himself before starting his own company in 2025. Today, he brings that hands-on experience to homes throughout Navarre and Pensacola.
Flippy’s is a business that offers fast, friendly heater service and upfront pricing. Austin still personally shows up on installs to make sure the work is right.
Whether you need heater repair or you’re looking for a Navarre HVAC contractor you can count on, Flippy’s is ready to help. With us, you get honest service, clear answers, and quality work. And, most importantly, no fishy business.

Don’t Flip Out About AC Problems in Navarre. Call Flippy’s!
In Santa Rosa and Escambia counties, a good AC system is part of everyday life. When the heat settles in and the humidity gets heavy, you need a cooling system that can hold up. That’s where Flippy’s comes in.
As a local HVAC company, we know cooling here is not just about lower temperatures. It is about keeping your home comfortable when the air outside feels thick enough to swim through.
Air Conditioner Repair
The house feels warmer than it should, the air coming from the vents is weak, or the system will not stop running. Other times, it is more subtle. Energy bills creep up. A room stays muggy. Something just feels off. Flippy’s provides AC repair for homeowners in Navarre and Pensacola to put these problems to bed.
AC unit Maintenance
In Santa Rosa and Escambia counties, air conditioners earn their keep. Long cooling seasons, heavy humidity, and salty coastal air can all wear on a system over time. Regular maintenance helps catch small issues early and gives your AC a better shot at making it through the hottest months without trouble. Let us keep your comfort from drifting off course with a comprehensive AC tune-up.
Central AC Replacement
There comes a point when an older AC starts asking for more than it gives back. Maybe it cannot keep up anymore. Maybe repairs start to stack up. When that time comes, Flippy’s Heat And Air helps homeowners in Navarre and Pensacola choose AC replacements that make sense for their space, comfort needs, and budget.
